Map Projection Article on Wikipedia

Abstract. People often look up information on Wikipedia and generally consider that information credible. The present paper investigates the article Map projection in the English Wikipedia. In essence, map projections are based on mathematical formulas, which is why the author proposes a mathematical approach to them. Weaknesses in the Wikipedia article Map projection are indicated, hoping it is going to be improved in the near future.
